Pivoting footrest bar with rubber footpegs and sidestand.

Post by Glenn » Wed Dec 21, 2011 3:45 pm

I am looking for a set of these because when I move my cub in and out of my shed, my stock pegs are getting caught on the front wheel of my Triumph and that is annoying.

Help please.

P.S. Its a 96 model C90.

yes thats exactly what i am planning cutting the ends off, and welding to the cub bar. ;) might have to drill out the centers and load a slug in there. before welding ;)

Ive been looking at the same thing to fit to a Cub.

But from the photos it doesnt look as tho the pegs rise as high as on the stock Cub peg bar.

Can anyone say if the footpeg height ends up the same when fitting one of these Monkey/Pitbike peg bars, or will they end up lower?
Or is a better alternative to just weld pivoting footpegs to the standard bar?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

THEY ARE NOT ANY WHERE NEAR AS HI, almost flat, as i say if you really want the folding part. the best way i can think of, is to do what i posted first off, lop off both sets drill hole in the ends of all and push a slug in, then connect the ends and weld em up. :D the pit ones do not fit the Mteck pipe, and as i am going to use one that is how i am looking to go. ;)

Cheers for the reply Dread.

Looks like I'll go with your good suggestion then. Lop 'em off and reweld onto the original bar it is then!!:)

Cheers Dread.

That'd be much appreciated.

Good idea on sleeving too. Would likely give more support than the small slug.
