few parts still needed. pit.cub

Post by dread » Sun Dec 04, 2011 11:23 am

17 toothed sprocket. for the pit/monkey engine are these all the same fitting and shape ect,
i want a set of cub foot pegs, i have played with the lifan bike ones. and will get away with on the road. but not with Mteck pipe so he says most probably.
red spong huge filter for the 26 mikuni carb
i'll have one more go at finding a 26 in let for it as well please.
3.5/4.5 inch, universal front light round chop style with bracket.
bound to be some thing else, i've just gone blank.

Just check the output shaft diameter on your engine. Most are 17mm, same as 12v C90 but I've seen some 125s with bigger like the 6v C90 (20mm?).

herrod did a nice fix for the footpeg widening, he cut them in the middle and put in a spacer/sleeve ... if it's down the middle the brackets form most of the strength ....

Hope that helps dread ;)

It was only the 6 volt C90 that had the 428 pitch I think ...... some pit bikes do have them.

I would expect it to be 420, same as a Cub. The 6 volt 90 rear sprockets were usually 40 tooth. I can't remember seeing it stamped on the chain/sprockets but I'll you what I could do dread .... if I haven't chucked it I've got a 428 chain, I could send a few links ..... try it for size :)
