C90G rear indicators wanted

I'm looking for a pair of honda rear indoicators for c90g

This is what I meant, Ally. Here are the original mounts; you can see the metal insert and retention feature.

I pointed out the most important part of these indicator stems. I also made a drawing to show how it's mounted on the cross plate (black), the metal insert (red), screw (green) and stem (orange).



These are the closest I found. I did ask the seller if there are any metal inserts for the mounting hole:

C90 G have the longer stalks , there are 8 groves in the stalks , repros have a different number of groves and no center line running through the groves …oem stalks are rocking horse Pooh

Yes Damien.wrl , you're correct that the 'G' s originally had the longer stems. The shorter ones were fitted to the 'E' s and previous.
They have the same body fittings so either will fit, depends if originalalty is important?
Obviously the centre fixing machine screws are different lengths.
You have to make sure that the lenses are not obstructed by racks, pannier bags etc, if you use the short stems.
And by the way.... everyone's weird in one way or another, including me!..... so don't bother!

I know the long stalks are specific to the newer Gs and later. I was even weirder and always wanted them to be original, as I hated the Hi-Level ones that didn't have the metal insert to stop the rubber from crushing when doing up the mounting screw. I did manage to buy the long ones OEM back in 2018, but they've been discontinued ever since. The only ones that are now available are the short ones. Coincidently, I love the Rickman rear racks that have the side loops and indicator relocating brackets. These push the indicators outwards by quite a bit, and the long stalks are quite bad on that setup. So managed to get the shorter ones on all of my 90s (all 5 have this rack). I also like that with the shorter indicators, you're less likely to catch them onto things.

As to your eBay listing, these stalks don't have the L-shaped feature that latches onto the cross plate besides the line in the middle.

It depends on how Ally would want his Cub to look and if he wants to keep the original aspect with the stalks longer. I will have a look at them both and see what's what. I'll do that tomorrow and come back on this.
