If you would consider Chinese, WK bikes are selling new 125cc scooters for £1499 OTR with 2 years guarantee. Its a nice looking scooter. They dont actually manufactur any themselves, but seem to import the best from China.

By preference, for a new 'un I'd go with the Sinnis Hero. It is, essentially, a Yamaha Cygnus.

Sinnis took over the distribution when Yamaha dropped the model. 8-)

Interesting that. Been looking at Sinnis scoots recently but not the Hero, time to visit John Parker M/C in Southend.

Not for me though (yet). Rode a mate's 650 Burgman at the weekend, great when it's moving but too much for me to manhandle (and him). Trying to steer him towards something a lot lighter!

Ay up Biker barker ;) the 650 burgervan has to be one of best in the current market, haven't owned one as l can't afford it but ran its smaller cousin the burgervan 250, for a couple of years, brilliant brilliant brilliant scooter ! never let me down once bar a smoking rectifier that needed replacement.Very heavy but once she lifts her skirts don't half go,also found it wallows a touch round corners at slow pedestrian speeds.but nevertheless a masterpiece from Suzuki....

Oh yes he would but he's 87 and 9 stone so the lighter the better. TBH he's waiting for the OK to ride after a cataract operation. Plus he needs to get another bike past his wife! He still has his Gold Wing 1500!

Does it have to be a 125 matt. The Honda vision 110 or the Suzuki address 110 are better. :)

See note 4 from Ged, Gforce has a Sinnis Hero, they are re-badged Yamaha so no problems with quality, does Jake not want the CG125?
