I haven't got a spare but two things worth knowing...
1- It's the same part on all 6 volt 50 70 and 90s!! Hooray!!! (unusual something fitting all three!!)
2- It won't hurt your engine as it is - the filter is in place and sealing so the vacuum should be correct, it's just not as waterproof as Honda intended!

WOW something in common, I don't believe it Have I read somewhere these are hard to come by? but in light of Boo's second point, I guess you could fabricate something for a cover? it would be hidden after all.Boo wrote:I haven't got a spare but two things worth knowing...

thats good to know as im going to hunt one out for him and the sealing rubber.
but without that air box the engine wont like it at all, i know people say the c70 6v's are a bit grumpy with out the airbox, dont know if the 90 is the same but even if you take the sealing rubber from the top on my 70 i just wont run performance wise at all.

it should work without the lid, but like i said before, i belive the 6v engines wont run correctly with out a complete air box, their were 6 volter air boxes in my parts, and the one sent you was the one with the largest diamiter intake on the inside, the smllaers ones are for the c70/c50. hope it all goes ok, i have boxes full of parts i minght post some of the parts up on the for sale pages.
